The Big Set, the PAL full set for GDEMU under OpenMenu… but not only that.

One year after releasing L’essentiel, my “small” OpenMenu compilation—100% complete in French—here comes the Big Set: the full PAL set running on OpenMenu!

For those who are new here: what exactly is this?
It’s simply an SD-card-based compilation for Dreamcast systems using GDEMU—fully plug-and-play, and featuring the more modern and polished interface: OpenMenu.

In details :

  • Over 400 games in total
  • The complete PAL full set (Europe)
  • NTSC exclusives (USA)
  • Japanese exclusives, most of them translated
  • VGA / 60Hz versions for PAL titles that weren’t originally compatible
  • The best homebrew games
  • New ports (GTA III / Vice City / Wipeout…)
  • Complete cover artwork for every game (official and custom!)
  • A description for each game (strengths/weaknesses)
  • A rating from Dreamcast Junkyard for every title
  • Maximum number of players and minimum VMU block requirements
  • Utilities included: VMU Archiver, VMU Explorer, XDP Moonlight, DreamKey 3.0
  • CodeBreaker options enabled with integrated cheat codes
  • Interchangeable original themes
  • Fully compatible with the VMU Pro
  • I think that covers everything, haha!

You can find the full game list in the small text file below.

(clik on Miss Ess) :

ALL OF THIS FOR FREE — and plug & play.

How it works:
Download the (large) ZIP file, extract it (this may take a little while), then copy the contents onto your SD card (formatted in FAT32), and you’re all set.
If you’re feeling a bit unsure about transferring everything to your SD card, you can check out the original tutorial right here.

Here is a short presentation video (Sorry i’m not Spielberg ahah) :

To download this marvel, you have two options:

1 – Via my cloud
The download link may temporarily stop working, as the traffic is limited to 2 TB per month.

2 – Backup solution: Archive.org
You can download the ZIP file from the small column on the right side of the page.

Here are the links to download the complete compilation (in ZIP format).
The longest part for you will probably be the download and the extraction, but don’t forget — it’s free…

<<<< Direct pCloud link — just click the image on the left.

<<<< Direct Archive.org — just click the image on the left.

The compilation is now available in two languages. Originally, it’s a French distribution (no, it’s not Clair Obscur!), but the simple method to change the language is explained in the video above :)

To wrap things up, I absolutely have to thank the people from DreamcastTalk for all their work on OpenMenu, GDEMU Card Manager, and everything else — they’re amazing: Sonik, MrNeo, Derek Pascarella, Ian Michael, Megavolt85, RazorX, and many others, as well as the active French members of Darius Saturnwith their incredible library, the mind-blowing encyclopedia work of Laurent Combi and his website Dreamcast Info games, and of course the members of my small Discord who helped and advised me — come join us:

And if you feel like it — and if you can afford it — you can throw a few coins my way (in euros, of course) to help cover the website hosting, buy me a pair of slippers, or simply to thank me for the work this represents… you pack of muskrats!!!!!! ( ;) ) :

There you go! You now have, inside your lovely Dreamcast/GDEMU setup, probably the best French OpenMenu distribution out there — and a complete one at that!

I hope it brings you joy, and that you’ll have a great time playing, discovering, or rediscovering the legendary games of our favorite console!

Hugs to everyone — I’m going to get some rest now! ;)
